Figure skating isn't all about quads , lol
Figure skating isn't all about quads , lol
Share this until it reach Nathan !! Lets pressure him
it's not only about the jumps…..yuna kim and yuzuru hanyo proved that
I love Nathan bur i know that Yuzuru Hanyu is also competing and he's definitely aiming for gold…so Nathan will have a lot of pressure on him to win that gold
I'm sorry but whoever made this video didn't do their research right. I mean, perfect landings? Soft knee bends? Ballet? Really?
Time will tell if Nathan can skate for gold. I bet not.
Who the hell made this clueless video? "Must attempt 5 quads." Yuzuru set his FP record with four quads. Why the hell would he attempt five when he's 20 points ahead of the record from guy who does five?
Skating isnt only quads. You need consistency and many other elements. Extremely biased.
I think he is good, but too technical, i just don't feel the beauty of skating from his routine
Skating isn’t about quads…
Is an axel that much harder than a different jump? (New sorry)
wow…how convenient to not talk about his 3a….not hating on him but this video is all about worshiping him smh…
go yuzuru!!!!!!!!
1.07 it's not "his" quad that's beauty…it's beautiful when any skater lands clean…
To be honest. No. Looking at the world rankings and his best scores even with so many quads he's still behind Javier and Yuzuru. Shoma Uno will also fare better and has more consistency. Yuzuru could take out his quad loop and still take the gold if he skates like he did in GPF 2015. The US always like to hype their athletes, typical of any nation but USA tend to really go out their way to media play a lot. Realistically speaking, unless Yuzuru, Javier and Shoma makes terrible mistakes one after another, only then will Nathan have a chance.
I am rooting for him. I hope he gets the free skate. His only weakness is his triple axels
nathan rocks!!! glad he is a hunk!!!
Nathan Chen will win 2018 Olympic gold for Man figure skate !!
No offence to Nathan Chen because he's an amazing skater, but this vid should be realistic about the fact that a score of 204 is QUITE FAR from 224.
This mentality that this whole video has is extremely toxic to the athletes and buries them in pressure. We should be proud of our athletes no matter what.
Not if Yuzuru Hanyu, Shoma Uno, or Javier Fernandez have anything to say about it. IF everyone skates clean, it's a Yuzu-Javi-Shoma podium. But then again, men's skating is a mess these days and it's whoever screws up the least wins.

This video is so biased.
To be honest, Yuzuru hanyu, Shoma uno and Javier Fernandez all are better contenders for gold. People are forgetting that yuzuru has the all time highest overall score (330 points), and Nathan's highest score (315) was also inflated and from nationals. Yuzuru has the highest SP (even without quad loop) and FS scores as well.
YOU CAN DO IT NATHAN!
Go Nathan!
get your gold hungry brains out from under a rock, and do some actual research. As amazing as Nathan is, he'll be lucky to make the podium.
